Firefox problems
« on: March 30, 2015, 04:10:05 AM »
Just FYI for others using Firefox, I've discovered a few problems since a recent update:
1) I can no longer expand the Shoutbox, which means I can't post in it either
2) Smileys are gone from the Post form. I'll have to find the problems and fix them later. Sorry!

I'm still seeing bugs to fix. :tantrum:

1) I can't expand the Shoutbox again.
2) Posts and Personal Messages are again missing the bbcode and smileys sections.
3) Punpun is complaining he can't see the page below the header.

The first two are related to Firefox; they look fine in Chrome and IE. :/ I don't know what browser Punpun is using yet.

FIXED. AGAIN. This is for my own reference only.  :uhoh:

The problem was caused by broken index.template.php files in the Coalblack and RC-Anon themes. The correct line starting the Chat section around line 230 is:
Code: [Select]
require_once dirname(__FILE__)."/../../chat/src/pfcinfo.class.php";

Remember to change to that from the test server's directory:
Code: [Select]
require_once dirname(__FILE__)."/../chat/src/pfcinfo.class.php";

BOTH MUST BE CORRECT!

It's happening again! :tantrum:

ETA: So the reason the problem seemed confined to Firefox is that something in Firefox crashed. A restart fixed it. I've got a million windows open so I can't narrow down if this site caused it. :shrug:
